Matter-first AI controls

The planned legal workspace hierarchy is — Organization, Client, Matter, Workspace — with per-matter members, classifications, routing rules, and retention. Authorization is enforced outside the model: policy decides what may be retrieved or sent, not the prompt.

Planned capabilities

Matter access control — only matter members can open, search, retrieve, or export matter workspaces, across UI, API, RAG, agents, and sync.
Information barriers — deny rules evaluated before retrieval, not after. A barriered team cannot reach a protected matter through any access path.
Client/matter policy — a matter can prohibit specific providers or require local/private routing, taking precedence over user model preference.
Privilege labels — labels such as Attorney-Client Privileged and Attorney Work Product reflect the customer’s classification. They are not a Glyph legal conclusion.
Legal holds — holds preserve in-scope data from ordinary deletion while leaving access authorization unchanged; every hold mutation is audited.
