Glyph 1.0.13: Launch reliability and a model catalog that syncs
A broad reliability release. Installs that would not launch, a Library that reported "No Models Found" because the catalog never synced, answers that cut off mid sentence, and system stats that disagreed with Activity Monitor are all addressed here. Reliability Fixed the app failing to launch on some installs (backend crash loop when packaging omitted production config; startup port conflicts with stale processes; truthful startup error messages with real diagnostics). The app now keeps its downloaded backend up to date automatically, fixing "Could not link Google login to this device" on installs with an outdated backend. Single instance protection: launching Glyph twice no longer breaks the running copy. Library & Models Fixed "No Models Found": the model catalog now syncs automatically (4,900+ models) and refreshes daily. Library filters (parameter size, file size, search combinations) now work correctly. New models are discovered from Hugging Face automatically every day. Chat Fixed garbled characters in responses (e.g. chemical formulas like CO2 rendering as "COĆ¢"). Longer, complete answers by default (4096 output tokens / 8192 context) responses no longer cut off mid sentence. Accuracy & UX CPU, GPU, and RAM stats now match Activity Monitor / Task Manager (no more estimated values). Settings page redesigned: organized sections with navigation, correct version display, consistent save behavior. Knowledge Base / single file chat attachments now work reliably (PDF, TXT, DOCX, MD), and document context is kept when internet search is enabled. Sign in Google sign in fixes across desktop and website, with clearer error messages. Glyph 1.0.13 is available from fortaify.com, and installed copies update themselves.
